Job summary

The Allure Group is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team in Brooklyn, NY. This role involves assisting with meal service, food preparation, sanitation, and dining room setups to support resident well-being and comfort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Previous experience in long-term care (preferred).
• Ability to follow sanitary guidelines in food handling.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals according to portion control procedures.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties.
• Set up meal trays, food carts, dining rooms as instructed.
• Assist cook in preparing meals.
• Distribute and collect menus as necessary.
• Prepare and dispose of food and waste in accordance with sanitary guidelines.
• Ensure that food and supplies for meals are ready.
• Assist in inventorying and storing incoming food and supplies.

Dietary Aide Responsibilities

• Serve meals in accordance with establishedportion control procedures
