Job summary

St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA is seeking a PRN Dietary Aide to join our Dietary Team. This is a part-time position with rotating shifts and the flexibility to work every other weekend.

You will assist with meal assembly, beverage service, coffee shop duties, dining area setup and cleaning, and support nutrition education. You must follow food safety rules, stay current with facility procedures, and communicate with patients to take meal orders.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalency (preferred)
• Barista or food service experience
• 1 year experience (minimum)
• 2-4 years experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Dietary Aides are to complete daily responsibilities that may include meal assembly, cold food preparation, utility and dish room functions, and preparing coffee and other drinks in our coffee shop.
• Preparing meals, snacks and beverages following specific procedures
• Serving meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
• Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations
• Setting up and taking down dining areas and assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning
• Assisting with educational programs on nutrition
• Talking to patients on the phone and receiving their meal order

Position Purpose:
