Job summary

Riverside Health & Rehab is seeking a kitchen aide to support meal preparation, tray service, and dining room operations in a long-term care setting. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with patients, families and staff.
• Ability to follow safety and cleanliness guidelines.
• Basic computer skills for scheduling and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in preparing desserts or snacks for patients.
• Assist cook in meal preparation.
• Carry trays to patients and assist with serving.
• Clean tables and dining areas after meals.
• Prepare between-meal nourishments and beverages.
• Operate dish and cleaning equipment.
• Record temperatures and monitor stock levels.
