Position: Dietary Aide Part Time, Evenings: Must be Available Weekends

NHC fosters teamwork and offers opportunities to showcase your culinary skills in a healthcare setting. A Food Service Team Member performs various duties related to the production and service of patient meals, including minimal food prep, food delivery, kitchen cleaning, and other assigned duties.

We provide restaurant-style dining for our residents and their families, offering you the chance to interact directly with residents and their families.

Position Highlights:

• Assist in receiving, storing food and supplies to prevent waste and ensure quality. Properly date, label, and store items, using correct food handling techniques.
• Responsible for scraping, stacking, washing, and sanitizing dishes, flatware, utensils, pots/pans, etc., and removing broken or chipped items from use. Wrap flatware if needed.
• Transport and store dishes, flatware, utensils, pots/pans, ensuring sufficient quantities are available to meet meal preparation and service schedules.
• Clean and sanitize the dish machine and dish room. Empty and sanitize trash cans. Keep the work area clean and uncluttered, completing all assigned cleaning duties.
