Job summary

The Grand at Utica in Utica, NY is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to work 6:30am-2:30pm with every other weekend shifts. Pay ranges $16-$17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include dish room operations, food preparation and tray setup, meal delivery, beverage and soup service, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas and storerooms. Restocking, waste management, and assisting with additional duties are required.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Experience in food service is a plus.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork.
• Dependable transportation is required.

• Food preparation & tray setup: prepare sandwiches and set up the tray line with condiments.
• Meal delivery: deliver food carts to units and organize resident tickets.
• Beverage & soup service: pour coffee, soups, and clean the coffee pot.
• Maintain cleanliness: sweep, mop, and keep dining areas, storerooms, and kitchen areas clean.
• Restocking & waste management: restock supplies, manage leftovers, dispose of trash.
• Additional duties: assist with other tasks as assigned by management.
