The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Rome in Rome, NY is seeking Dietary Aides to join our team. This role offers both full-time and part-time hours and supports resident meals, tray setup, and delivery in a caring, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Dish room operations: operate dish machine, clean dish area, wash pots and pans.
• Food preparation and tray setup: prepare sandwiches and set up trays with condiments.
• Meal delivery: deliver food carts to units and organize resident tickets.
• Beverage and soup service: pour beverages and maintain coffee station.
• Maintain cleanliness: sweep and mop dining areas and storerooms.
• Restocking and waste management: restock supplies, manage leftovers, dispose of trash.
• Additional duties: assist with other tasks as assigned by management.

Position details:
Location: Rome, NY

Job Type: Full-time and part-time

Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.50 hourly

Key Responsibilities:

• Dish room Operations: Operate the dish machine, clean the dish room, and wash pots, pans, and sort silverware.

• Food Preparation & Tray Setup: Prepare sandwiches and set up the tray line with condiments.

• Meal Delivery: Deliver food carts to units and organize resident tickets.

• Beverage & Soup Service: Pour coffee, soups, and clean the coffee pot.

• Maintain Cleanliness: Sweep, mop, and ensure cleanliness in dining areas, storerooms, and other kitchen areas.

• Restocking & Waste Management: Restock supplies, manage leftovers, and dispose of trash.

• Additional Duties: Assist with other tasks as assigned by management.

Dietary Aide Requirements:

• Physical Capability: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.

• Experience: Experience in food service is a plus but not necessary.

• Teamwork: Positive attitude and strong ability to collaborate with others.
