Job summary

Reflections Retirement Community in Calumet City, IL seeks a part-time Dining Assistant to deliver meals and beverages to residents with compassion and care. You will help prepare dining areas, uphold cleanliness, and ensure safety standards are followed, while engaging residents warmly and respectfully.

The role requires strong communication, a ServSafe certification within 90 days, and a commitment to serving with love and dignity each day.

Qualifications

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification must be completed within 90 days of start date.
• Must be able to serve with love, compassion and dignity in daily interactions.

Responsibilities

• Serves high-quality, nourishing meals, snacks, and beverages to our residents in consideration of dietary preferences and restrictions
• Prepares dining areas, providing a clean and welcoming environment for resident social gathering and meals
• Assists in maintaining a sanitary and organized kitchen while ensuring compliance to safety and sanitation protocols
• Engages with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction
