Job summary

Continuing Healthcare Solutions at The Suites at Niles is hiring a part-time Dietary Aide to join our dining services team in Niles, Ohio. You will assist with meal service, help prepare meals, and maintain cleanliness of food service areas and equipment.

You will ensure timely delivery of meals with friendly, resident-centered service while following all policies and regulatory guidelines for long-term care. Prior dietary experience is preferred but entry-level candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a dietary department is preferred but entry level candidates are welcome.
• Must follow current federal, state, and local guidelines for long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Meal service and assistance in food preparation.
• Care and cleaning of food service equipment.
• Set up trays and dining room tables; ensure meals are delivered with good service.

Experience and Skills

Responsible for meal service, assisting in preparation of food, care and cleaning of food service equipment, setting up trays and dining room tables.

Ability to ensure the delivery of meals and customer service for a positive dining experience. Follow all applicable policies and procedures as well as current federal, states and local guidelines and regulations that govern long-term care.

The Cook is responsible for the preparation of food in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures.

Previous experience working in a dietary department is required preferably in a healthcare setting.
