Job summary

Resthaven in Holland, MI is seeking a Part-Time Dietary Aide to assist with kitchen prep and meal service for residents and guests. You will help follow menus, deliver meals with courtesy, and maintain cleanliness throughout dining rooms, kitchen, and dishwashing areas.

This role supports a compassionate, faith-based community and offers an opportunity to grow with the organization. Shifts are weekday evenings and rotating weekend hours, with paid training provided and a values-driven team

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages, fruits, salads, desserts, and assist with additional food preparation as needed.
• Set up dining room tables for meal service.
• Accurately follow resident menus when preparing room trays and/or serving in the dining room.
• Take tableside meal orders and deliver food to residents in an organized, timely, and courteous manner.
• When appropriate, offer available options to exceed resident expectations.
• Deliver nourishments to resident units as required.
• Deliver food carts to designated locations and ensure carts are returned to the kitchen.
• Collect and dispose of trash and garbage in designated containers.
• Clean work areas, dining rooms, equipment, walls, cabinets, storage areas, and other assigned spaces in accordance with established procedures.
• Wash dishes, cookware, flatware, and trays using approved sanitation procedures.Perform all other position-related duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Assist with kitchen preparation and meal service for residents and guests while ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction. Responsible for accurately following menus, delivering high-quality service, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the dining rooms, kitchen, and dishwashing areas.

Pay Range

• $15 - $16.50
• Pay is based on experience and applicable licensure

Employment Type & Schedule

• Part- Time
• Weekdays (4:00 PM - 7:30 PM)
• Rotating Weekend (11:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
