Responsibilities

• Follow all food procedures per facility policy and direction.
• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Assist in serving meals timely when needed.
• Prepare food in accordance with sanitary regulations and policies.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties per policies.
• Clean work tables, blocks, refrigerators/freezers.
• Sweep and mop floors as directed.
• Carry soiled utensils to wash area; wash and return utensils to storage.
• Carry out garbage and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Set up meal trays and dining areas as instructed.
• Assist cook in preparing meals and distributing menus.
• Check diet trays before distribution and deliver food carts as needed.
• Report hazardous conditions and accidents to supervisor.

Spring Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center located in Green Springs, OH is looking for a reliable, hard working individual to fill a Part-time Dietary Aide position.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Follow all food procedures in accordance with facility policy and/or direction.
• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
• Prepare food, etc., in accordance with sanitary regulations as well as with our established policies and procedures.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Clean work tables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, etc.
• Sweep and mop floors as directed.
• Carry soiled utensils, etc., to wash area.
• Wash and clean utensils as directed.
• Return clean utensils to proper storage areas.
• Carry out garbage and keep work areas clean, dry and free of hazardous equipment, supplies, etc.
• Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc., as instructed.
• Assist cook in preparing meals.
• Distribute and collect menus as necessary.
• Assist in checking diet trays before distribution.
• Deliver food carts, trays, etc., to designated areas.
• Serve food in dining areas as instructed.
• Report all hazardous conditions/equipment to your supervisor immediately.
• Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor on the shift in which they occur.
• Ensure that food and supplies for the next meal are readily available.
• Assist in inventorying and storing in-coming food, supplies, etc., as necessary.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned.

*The hours are: 6a - 230pm; 1 day a week plus every other weekend and holiday rotation.
