Job summary

Scarlet Oaks Retirement and Rehabilitation Center in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking reliable dietary aides for our 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. afternoon shift.

Full-time and part-time positions are available for individuals who enjoy working in a healthcare and senior living environment, supporting residents with their daily nutrition and dining experience. Responsibilities include assisting with meal prep and plating, serving residents, dish room duties, maintaining sanitation, and supporting cooks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in quantity food preparation or healthcare food service preferred.
• Healthcare or senior living experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and plating of meals for residents.
• Serve food and beverages and assist residents during mealtimes.
• Work in the dish room; washing, sanitizing, and storing dishes and utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.

Scarlet Oaks Retirement and Rehabilitation Center in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking reliable full-time and part-time Dietary Aides for our 11pm. – 7:00 pm afternoon shift. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a healthcare and senior living environment, supporting residents with their daily nutrition and dining experience.

Responsibilities of the Dietary Aide

• Assist with preparation and plating of meals and snacks for residents.

• Serve food and beverages and/or assist residents during mealtimes in the dining room.

• Work in the dish room as requested, including washing, sanitizing, and storing dishes and utensils.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.

• Assist Cooks with basic food preparation and portioning as needed.

Mandatory Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior experience in quantity food preparation or food service preferred (healthcare or senior living experience is a plus).

Skills and Qualities

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team.

• Solid work history with reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Patience, understanding, and compassion for residents and their families.

Schedule and Job Type

• 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. afternoon shift also has 3pm-7pm available

• Full-time and part-time positions available.

• Weekend and holiday rotations as required by the facility schedule.
