Job summary

Madison Healthcare Center in Ohio is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with all dietary functions in accordance with established policies. The role emphasizes following sanitation, safety, and infection control procedures while supporting residents' meals.

You will work with the dietary team to prepare and serve meals, maintain cleanliness, and help with stock and daily cleaning tasks. On-the-job training is provided; reading, writing and spoken English are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or possess a work permit.

Responsibilities

• Follow established dietary procedures and policies.
• Assist in serving meals and observing sanitation/safety requirements.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties and stock management.
• Carry out meal tray setup and delivery to designated areas.
• Assist cook in preparing meals and obtaining food supplies for next meal.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and proper storage of utensils.
