Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.

Responsibilities

• Follow established dietary policies and procedures in meal preparation and service.
• Assist in serving meals and ensuring sanitation and safety standards.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper storage of food and utensils.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties and garbage disposal.
• Deliver meals and snacks to designated areas and assist in food preparation for special meals.
