Job summary

Royalton Manor is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily food service operations in a skilled nursing setting. You will assist with meal prep, delivery, and sanitation to ensure nutritious meals in a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Prefer one year of experience as a food service aide in an institutional setting.
• Ability to read and follow diet cards, portion guidelines, and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handles and stores all food according to facility procedures, safe food handling guidelines, state and federal requirements.
• Assists with food preparation as assigned by supervisor.
• Prepares food items according to standardized recipes, insuring safe food handling practices.
• Operates institutional food preparation equipment according to manufacturer and supervisory direction.
• Delivers nourishment, food supplements and snacks to units as scheduled.
• Maintains food service equipment in clean and safe operating condition according to facility procedures.
