Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide on a per diem basis at Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV. Under supervision, you will assist with patient food service and dish duties, ensuring meals align with diet orders and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent (preferred).
• ServSafe Certification preferred.

This Dietary Aide opportunity is per diem and a convenient schedule. This position is for our Northern Nevada Medical Hospital in Reno. Under the direct supervision of the Food & Nutrition Services Director, Supervisor, or Lead, the Diet Aide performs a variety of patient food service and dish duties.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepares all food items and patient meal trays accurately based on diet order, approved recipes and patient meal tickets
• Uses proper techniques to ensure food safety. Techniques include, but not limited to: hand hygiene, glove use, temperature monitoring/control, cleaning and sanitizing
• Follows procedures for stocking trayline, prep areas and nourishment rooms.
