Regency at Fremont, operated by Ciena Healthcare, seeks a Dietary Aide to support daily food service operations in a skilled nursing setting. You will assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and safe food handling, delivering meals to residents with care and respect.

You will work under the supervision of the Dietary Manager, maintaining clean work areas and supporting inspection readiness, while following facility procedures and state requirements. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Formación

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Prefer one year experience as a food service aide in an institutional setting.
• Ability to read and follow diet cards, portion guidelines, and sanitation procedures.
• Computer skills are required.
• Meets all state and federal criminal background check requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Handles and stores all food according to facility procedures, safe food handling guidelines, state and federal requirements.
• Assists with food preparation as assigned by supervisor.
• Prepares food items according to standardized recipes, ensuring safe food handling practices.
• Operates institutional food preparation equipment according to directions.
• Assembles diet trays for residents according to procedures and match foods to each diet card.
• Delivers tray carts to dining areas and resident units and assists with tray delivery as needed.
• Cleans dishes, utensils, and equipment according to procedures and maintains dish machine.
• Reports equipment problems to supervisor promptly and assists with inspection preparation.
