Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handles and stores all food according to facility procedures, safe food handling guidelines.
• Assists with food preparation as assigned by supervisor.
• Prepares food items according to standardized recipes, ensuring safe handling.
• Operates institutional food prep equipment as directed.
• Assists with set-up of the food tray line.
• Assembles diet trays per diet cards, matching foods and condiments.
• Delivers tray carts to dining areas and resident units.
• Reports any equipment problems promptly.
• Maintains workspaces and equipment in clean, safe condition.
