Casper Mountain Rehabilitation & Care Center is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to support residents' nutritional needs and deliver a positive dining experience. You will assist with meal preparation, service, and maintaining a clean, safe dining area.

Work closely with dietary staff, nursing teams, and residents to follow dietary guidelines and regulatory standards, contributing to resident health and quality of life in a facility that values teamwork and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Prior food service or dietary experience is preferred, especially in healthcare or long-term care.
• Able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow recipes and dietary instructions accurately.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach in interactions with residents.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining safety standards.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals, snacks, and beverages per menus and safety standards.
• Serve meals to residents while maintaining sanitation.
• Assist with meal tray prep and delivery per dietary orders.
• Set up and break down dining areas, keeping them clean and welcoming.
• Perform dishwashing and general sanitation duties.
• Monitor inventory and assist with stocking.
• Follow facility policies and state/federal regulations.
• Assist residents during meal service to enhance dining experience.
• Participate in nutrition-related programs and events.
• Collaborate with dietary staff and interdisciplinary team.
