Job summary

Twin-Oaks-Health- is seeking a Dietary Aide to support kitchen operations in a care facility. The role involves assisting with meal service, preparing snacks, and keeping work areas clean and organized, while following established safety and infection control policies.

Candidates should be dependable, able to read and follow written instructions in English, possess basic computer skills, and be available for additional hours, including weekends when required.

Qualifications

• Must have regular attendance and punctuality.
• Basic computer skills for records and meal tracking.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to work additional hours including weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals and beverages.
• Prepare and serve in-between meal nourishment snacks.
• Maintain kitchen work areas and ensure cleanliness of tables, blocks, fridges and storage.
• Follow safety regulations and infection control policies at all times.
• Assist cook in meal preparation when needed.
• Report hazards, accidents, or incidents to supervisor promptly.
• Perform daily cleaning duties and ensure work areas are safe and sanitary.
