Fortress Nursing in College Station seeks a dedicated Dietary Aide to support meal service and resident care in our facility. You will assemble trays, deliver meal carts, and collaborate with staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

You will assist with meal service, manage supplies, prepare and serve meals, and sanitize equipment while following recipes and procedures. The role requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment with a cooperative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Meal Service: Assemble trays and deliver meal carts to nursing or dining areas.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Dispose of refuse according to departmental policies and procedures.
• Manage Supplies: Deliver and rotate food and floor supplies according to standards (first in, first out).
• Prepare Foods: Follow menu and standardized recipes to prepare meals safely and efficiently.
• Serve Meals: Portion and serve meals as directed by recipes and spreadsheet instructions.
• Sanitize Equipment: Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment properly.
