Job summary

Noland Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in dietary preparation and cleanup for residents and guests in accordance with guidelines and organizational policies to promote quality food service.

You will work with the dietary team performing meal service, tray assembly, cleaning, dishwashing, and delivery of meals and snacks. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with experience in food service considered a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a food service setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in serving meals on a timely basis.
• Assists in daily cleaning and waste disposal.
• Cleans and sets up trays and dining areas.
• Works as a cook as directed.
• Maintains proper food temperatures during preparation and service.
• Checks therapeutic diet trays before distribution.
• Delivers food carts and trays to designated areas.
• Performs dishwashing and cleaning; ensures utensils are available.
• Prepares and serves food and supplies meals.
• Prepares and delivers snacks.
• Assists in inventory and storage of dietary supplies.
• Assists in food preparation for special events.
• Disposes of food and waste per policies.
• Makes authorized food substitutions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
