What You Bring

• Successful completion of Food Service Worker Certificate and Food Handler Training Program (or willingness to obtain within a specified period, as required under the Fixing Long Term Care Homes Act and its Regulations).
• Ability to accept verbal and/or written directions.
• Ability to cope with the physical and emotional demands of the position.
• Geriatric and long-term care experience is beneficial.
• Experience in long-term care food service, including texture-modified diets, therapeutic diets, and production spreadsheets, is an asset.
• Good communication skills, able to read and write in English.
• Punctuality and reliability.

This is a temporary position with a starting wage of $24.07 per hour, with terms and conditions as per the Collective Agreement.
