Job summary

Canyon Vista Post Acute is seeking a Dietary Aide in Las Vegas to support daily meal service, tray assembly, and kitchen sanitation. You will work under the Cook and Dietary supervisor, learning routines quickly and contributing to a clean, safe dining operation.

Responsibilities include dishwashing, tray setup, nourishment prep, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and adherence to food safety practices in a hospital-adjacent setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn food service routine within a short period.
• Ability to set up meal trays and assist with serving.
• Must maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas.
• Must obtain and maintain a food handlers' certificate.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays for service and assist with meal distribution.
• Operate the dishwasher and ensure dishes are cleaned and sanitized.
• Check chlorine concentration and water temperature of dishwashing machine at shift start.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks as needed.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors and maintain clean work surfaces.
