Job summary

Dublin-Post-Acute is seeking a dietary aide to support daily meal service in a healthcare kitchen. The role requires quickly learning food service routines, setting up meal trays, assisting with serving meals, and maintaining a clean, sanitary work area.

Responsibilities include operating the dishwasher, checking dishwashing chemicals and water temperatures, preparing nourishments, and assisting with stocking and trash disposal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain and maintain a food handlers’ certificate.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly and accurately.
• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip returned trays and wash dishes; operate the dishwasher.
• Check chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwashing area.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks; keep kitchen clean and sanitary.
• Sweep and mop kitchen; maintain floors and surfaces.
• Carry out trash and store groceries safely and orderly.
• Participate in orientation and training of dietary staff and work with other departments.
