Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Learn food service routine quickly and perform tasks efficiently.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwasher.
• Operate the dishwasher and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks; sweep, mop, and sanitize floors.
• Carry out trash disposal and put groceries away safely.
• Leave the kitchen clean and sanitary; assist the cook or dietary supervisor as needed.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training for dietary staff.
• Coordinate with personnel in all departments to maintain harmony.
