Job summary

Wyndham Residence in Arroyo Grande, CA is hiring a Dietary Aide (kitchen help) to support residents’ meals. This part-time role includes preparing kitchen tasks, delivering meal trays, stocking supplies, washing dishes, and keeping dining areas clean and sanitary.

Requirements include passing background checks, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and weekend availability. Shifts run 7:15AM-2:00PM or 3:30PM-7:30PM.

Qualifications

• Clearances: Ability to pass background check, reference check, physical exam, and TB clearance.
• Physical ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk/bend/twist for long periods.
• Personality: Interest in geriatric care, positive attitude and strong team spirit.
• Must be at least 17 years old to apply.
• Availability: Some weekend availability; shifts 7:15AM-2:00PM or 3:30PM-7:30PM.

Responsibilities

• Prepare kitchen and assist with daily food service.
• Deliver meal trays and plates to residents.
• Retrieves trays at the end of mealtime.
• Stock inventory and organize storage areas.
• Wash dishes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment.
• Attend staff and in-service meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Part Time shift available

$16.90 to $18.00 per hour
