StoneBridge Senior Living in Marble Hill, MO, is seeking a compassionate food service assistant to prepare and serve meals meeting daily nutritional and dietary needs for residents. The role includes dishwashing and cleaning tasks as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• One-year experience in food service in an institutional setting is preferred.
• Basic understanding of nutrition and therapeutic diets.
• Excellent interpersonal, organization and communication skills.
• Understanding of person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Handles and stores all food according to facility procedures and safe food handling guidelines.
• Assists with food preparation as assigned by supervisor.
• Prepare food items according to standardized recipes ensuring safe food handling practices.
• Uses food supplies and equipment efficiently to prevent waste.
• Operates institutional food preparation and cleaning equipment (including dish machine).
• Assists with the setup of the food tray line or buffet dining setup.
• Assembles meals and trays for residents according to facility procedures.
