Job summary

Autumnwind is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our kitchen team. This full-time role expects Monday–Friday, 6am–2pm, with a pay range of $18–$21 per hour DOE.

You will learn food service routines, set up meal trays, wash dishes, assist with serving meals, and help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen. You'll work under the Cook and Dietary Supervisor, read and follow recipes and procedures, obtain a food handlers certificate, and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain food handlers' certificate.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to apply basic math in food service.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays.
• Wash dishes and strip down returned trays.
• Assist with serving meals.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of dishwashing machine.
• Operate dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop kitchen.
• Carry out trash and garbage.
• Keep kitchen clean and sanitary.
• Participate in orientation and training.
