Job summary

Hickory Treatment Centers in Albion, IN is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist with preparing, serving, and cleaning up client meals while helping maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.

You will support cooks under the Dietary Manager, helping prepare healthy meals to promote clients’ well-being. The role requires flexibility to adapt to admissions and census fluctuations.

Qualifications

• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
• Scheduling flexibility is required to accommodate client admissions, census and needs of the facility.
• Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own insured transportation

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Service: Follow the established menu by preparing and serving all food and beverages.
• Food Preparation & Service: Prepare food items and share cooking duties with other workers.
• Food Preparation & Service: Serve food for each special diet per physician order and in accordance with established standards.
• Cleaning & Sanitation: Wash dishes and clean work areas, tables, cabinets, and ovens.
• Cleaning & Sanitation: Participate in cleaning and deep cleaning as instructed.
• Inventory & Kitchen Operations: Assist with food inventory and other assigned duties.
• Safety & Reporting: Report any unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to the Dietary Manager immediately.
• Professional Conduct: Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and clients
