Job summary

Hickory Treatment Centers in Linton, IN seeks a part-time Dietary Aide to assist with client meals, including prep, service, and cleanup, and ensure kitchen cleanliness.

Under the Dietary Manager, you will contribute to healthy meal preparation and serve special diets as ordered, while maintaining sanitation and safety standards in a supportive care environment.

Dietary Aide - Hickory Treatment Centers

Direct Report To: Dietary Manager

About the Role

The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting with prepping, serving, and cleanup of client meals. As well as the cleanliness of the kitchen.

Under the immediate supervision of the Dietary Manager, the Dietary Aide assists the Cooks in preparing/serving client’s healthy meals to promote improved health and well-being of all clients.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Service

• Follow the established menu by preparing and serving all food and beverages
• Prepare food items and share cooking duties with other workers
• Serve food for each special diet per physician order and in accordance with established standards

Cleaning & Sanitation

• Wash dishes and clean work areas, tables, cabinets, and ovens
• Participate in cleaning and deep cleaning as instructed

Inventory & Kitchen Operations

• Assist with food inventory and other assigned duties

Safety & Reporting

• Report any unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to the Dietary Manager immediately

Professional Conduct

• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and clients
