Job summary

Reliant Management in California is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to prepare and pre-portion foods for residents according to the planned menu and production sheets. You will follow proper food safety techniques, maintain safe temperatures, assist with tray-line setup, assemble trays to meet diet orders, and ensure meals are served attractively and on time.

Prior fast-paced kitchen or healthcare experience and a California Food Handler’s Card are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or pre-ports food according to the planned menu and production sheets.
• Handles food using proper food handling and safety techniques according to established policies.
• Maintains food served at attractive temperatures and quality, verifying taste and palatability prior to service.
• Assists with tray line setup, assembles trays per menu and diet orders, and checks trays for accuracy during service.
• Ensures timely service and adherence to residence preferences and diet orders.
