Walnut Creek Care Community is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily meal service for residents, following diet cards and menus. The role includes preparing, delivering and clearing meals, maintaining sanitation, and assisting the cooking staff as needed.

You will work with a compassionate team to ensure timely, accurate meal delivery and adherence to safety standards in a resident-focused environment.

Competenze

• Ability to follow instructions and accept constructive criticism.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, staff and visitors.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of supplies and equipment.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.

Mansioni

• Assist with all food functions per policies and procedures.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Prepare and deliver meals and snacks to nurses' station and residents.
• Set up resident meal trays according to prescribed diets.
• Deliver and retrieve trays and dishware on schedule.
• Assist cooks and make authorized food substitutions.
• Help in meal preparation for special occasions.
