Greenbriar Care Community is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily meal service and resident nourishment. You will assist cooks, prepare and deliver meals, and help maintain clean and sanitary kitchen areas in a respectful, patient-focused environment.

You will follow established diets, assist with special meals, and coordinate with nursing staff to ensure timely meal delivery and proper tray setup during shifts.

Formación

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be a supportive team member and contribute to teamwork.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Must be able to follow instructions and accept constructive criticism.
• Must be able to deal tactfully with residents, family members, staff, and visitors.
• Must maintain cleanliness and proper storage of supplies and equipment.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced food service environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide assistance to all food functions according to policies and procedures.
• Prepare and deliver meals and beverages to nurses' station and residents as scheduled.
• Set up resident meals trays according to diets and menu cards.
• Deliver, collect, and sanitize meal trays and dishware on the floor during shifts.
• Assist in food preparation for special meals and events as needed.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in the department and report hazards.
• Assist in inventory and stocking of food and supplies.
