Job summary

Eden Vista Burr Ridge is seeking an amazing Dietary Aide to join our team. Both full-time and per diem part-time schedules are available, with operating hours from 7 AM to 7 PM. Prior dietary experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include food preparation, dining room service, maintaining cleanliness, inventory management, and ensuring health and safety standards are followed. A high school diploma is required, and flexibility for weekdays and weekends is welcomed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in healthcare or senior care is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work per diem shifts during weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Service: Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents in the dining room or their individual rooms.
• Cleanliness & Sanitation: Ensure all food preparation areas are kept clean and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
• Dining Area Maintenance: Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and other dining areas after meals.
• Stocking & Inventory: Receive and organize food deliveries from vendors, ensuring proper storage in the pantry, refrigerator, or freezer.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including safe food handling and sanitation practices during food preparation and storage.
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the dietary supervisor or facility management.

• Hours vary but operating hours are from 7 AM to 7 PM
• Experience in dietary is preferred
• $16-$18/hour
