Job summary

Vista Senior Living Management is the dedicated senior living division of our organization, focused on operating and growing senior living communities. Eden Vista Prospect Heights is a network member dedicated to compassionate care and exceptional living for residents.

The Dietary Aide role is full-time with 7am-2pm and 4pm-7pm shifts, including every other weekend and holidays. Responsibilities include food prep area sanitation, serving residents, and stocking pantry and fridge items.

Qualifications

• Food Sanitation license, preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help.
• Ability to follow directions and multitask in a busy environment.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and compassionate.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the cleanliness of food preparation areas.
• Serving food to residents in the lunchroom/bringing food to residents in their rooms.
• Cleaning eating areas after meals.
• Bringing in delivered food items from vendors providers and stocking the pantry/fridge/freezer.
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures during the process of food preparation.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Position: Dietary Aide (Full-time)

Schedule:

• 7am-2pm primary shift
• 4pm-7pm shift is 2 or 3 times per week, depending on hours wanted
• With every other weekend and holidays

Main responsibilities:

• Maintaining the cleanliness of food preparation areas
• Serving food to residents in the lunchroom/bringing food to residents in their rooms
• Cleaning eating areas after meals
• Bringing in delivered food items from vendors providers and stocking the pantry/fridge/freezer
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures during the process of food preparation
• Additional duties as assigned
