Job summary

Indian Canyon Post Acute Care Center in Yucca Valley is seeking a Dietary aide to join our team. The role focuses on preparing meals per recipes and diet restrictions, assisting in service, and upholding sanitation standards in a 99-bed skilled nursing facility.

Extensive training and orientation are provided by the dietary team. Responsibilities include coordinating with nursing services for diet changes, assisting in establishing production lines for meals, and supporting the Certified Dietary

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food following standardized recipes and menus.
• Assist in meal service and food presentation.
• Coordinate with dietary team to apply diet changes and special orders.
• Assist in maintaining sanitation and storage in kitchen areas.
• Support Head Cook/Chef and Certified Dietary Manager as needed.
