Job summary

Alliance Health at Rosewood in Peabody, MA is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in the preparation and serving of nutritious meals for residents. You will support dish delivery, maintain sanitary dining and kitchen areas, and follow safety standards while learning under supervision.

The role offers full-time hours with opportunities for growth in the culinary/food service and nutrition field. Applicants must be able to meet physical demands and be COVID-19 vaccinated including booster.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to train in dietary aide duties.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Clear dining areas and dispose of dishes and waste.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes and utensils.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist in tracking expenses and menu planning.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
