Grayson Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking dependable Dietary Aides to join our dietary team in Leitchfield, KY. You will help prepare and serve meals, maintain cleanliness, and support residents’ nutritional needs in a respectful, resident-centered environment.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to follow instructions and established food safety procedures.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Dependability and attention to detail.
• Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Assist the Cook with food preparation and ensure ingredients and supplies are available for meal service.
• Help prepare and serve regular and special diet meals according to prescribed menus and residents’ dietary needs.
• Ensure meals are served on time, with proper portions and an appealing presentation.
• Check meal trays for accuracy, portion sizes, and compliance with prescribed diets.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Operate the dishwasher and clean kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen and dining environment.
• Monitor food supplies and assist with inventory and equipment control.
• Report damaged equipment, supply shortages, and other concerns to the supervisor.
• Communicate with the Cook and Dietary Supervisor to help resolve issues and improve food service.
• Observe and report dietary concerns or emergencies promptly.
• Complete required documentation and other duties as assigned.
