Dietary Aide (Full-Time) - Carolina Reserve of Laurel Park

Carolina Reserve of Laurel Park, a community of Navion Senior Living, is seeking a qualified Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation, oversight, and serving. Our Dietary Aides deliver high-quality food service in a modern Assisted Living Community, ensuring excellent service by following established standards and instructions.

We offer Full-Time opportunities on 1st and 2nd shifts!

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and portion food items such as beverages, salads, desserts, and other items as assigned, for regular and therapeutic diets according to menus and production sheets
  • Handle food using proper safety and handling techniques
  • Serve food attractively and ensure quality standards are met through proper tasting
  • Maintain proper food temperatures during preparation and service, recording temperatures as required
  • Follow procedures for serving partner meals
  • Communicate warmly and professionally with residents, families, visitors, and staff, responding to concerns and questions with a helpful attitude
Requirements
  • Minimum 10th-grade education
  • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary
  • Ability to interpret and follow written and oral policies and instructions
  • Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing)
  • Effective communication skills
