Job summary

Peninsula Post-Acute in Burlingame, CA is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal preparation and service for residents. The role includes following standardized recipes, checking diet orders, and maintaining a clean dining and kitchen environment.

The position offers flexible hours with both full-time and part-time options. Compensation is $20.00-$21.00 per hour, with opportunities for training and growth in a supportive team setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and service of meals and snacks according to menus and standardized recipes.
• Check meal trays for menu accuracy, diet orders, preferences, and nutritional requirements.
• Prepare food according to established recipes and proper consistency requirements for mechanical soft and pureed diets.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen and dining areas following meal service.
• Ensure dishes, equipment, and supplies are properly cleaned, stored, and organized.
• Follow all dietary safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Support the dietary team in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
