Dietary Aide - Full Time (Food Services)
General Purpose: The dietary aide's assignments are determined based on the activity of the shift. He/she reports to the Cook and Dietary Supervisor.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read technical procedures, follow recipes, and effectively communicate with managers and employees.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions furnished in various formats.
Must obtain and maintain a food handler's certificate.
Requires standing, walking frequently; sitting occasionally; reaching, pushing/pulling, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling frequently; lifting up to 50 pounds frequently; and occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Visual acuity is required for close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as focus adjustment.
