The Oaks Assisted Living in Muskegon, Michigan, seeks a dedicated Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and serving, ensuring residents receive meals that meet dietary needs and preferences with a high standard of care.

You will promote residents' health through proper nutrition, work a Day Shift, and contribute to a supportive, team-oriented kitchen and dining environment within Trinity Health Senior Communities.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service, preferably in healthcare or assisted living, is an asset.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, sanitation, and dietary guidelines.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of the elderly.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the preparation of meals according to dietary plans and resident preferences.
• Serve meals to residents in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Ensure proper portion control and adherence to special dietary requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Assist with stocking and inventory of food supplies.
• Communicate any dietary concerns or changes in residents' conditions to the dietary manager.
• Follow all safety and food handling regulations.
• Participate in in-service training and staff meetings as required.
