The Oaks Assisted Living in Muskegon, Michigan, is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team. The Dietary Aide will assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents, ensuring dietary needs are met with high care standards to promote residents’ health and well-being.

Responsibilities include portion control, sanitation, and clear communication with the dietary manager. This full-time day-shift role requires teamwork and compassion for the elderly.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service is an asset.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, sanitation, and dietary guidelines.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents’ needs.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the preparation of meals according to dietary plans and resident preferences.
• Serve meals to residents in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Ensure proper portion control and adherence to dietary requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Assist with stocking and inventory of food supplies.
• Communicate dietary concerns or changes to the dietary manager.
• Follow all safety and food handling regulations.
• Participate in in-service training and staff meetings as required.
