Job summary

White Oak Manor York is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our 109-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation campus. This full-time role on the on-site kitchen supports resident meals, adheres to planned menus, and helps maintain safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced setting.

Evening shift 11am-8pm with alternating weekends; prior long-term care food service experience is a plus but not required. We value teamwork, reliability, and a compassionate approach to residents.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (or willingness to learn).
• Ability to follow menus and special diet instructions.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and service of daily meals following planned menus.

SHIFT: Part time 2nd shift 11am-8pm with alternating weekends according to the needs of the dietary department and the center

Previous experience in providing dietary services in the long-term care industry is a plus but is not required.
