Job summary

White Oak Manor York is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team in York, SC. The role focuses on assisting with daily meal preparation, following planned menus and special diets, while maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a basic understanding of food prep and sanitation, can work under pressure, and contribute to resident satisfaction. Prior long-term care experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Six months experience preferably in institutional food preparation or related field.

• Assist with the preparation and service of daily meals following planned menus
• Prepare food in accordance with special diets and resident needs

Previous experience in providing dietary services in the long-term care industry is a plus but is not required. We're looking for passionate, team-oriented individuals to join our team with a goal in providing the highest quality of care and services for our residents.

The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of food preparation, food special diets, follow menu, food safe and sanitation, a positive attitude, and a commitment to quality service and cleanliness. We're looking for a self-motivated team player who works well under pressure and is able to maintain a fast pace in our active kitchen. In this role you help prepare a variety of daily meals, as well as maintain kitchen cleanliness and assist with inventory and other tasks as needed.
