A leading veterinary hospital is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in food service and sanitation tasks. The role requires a high school diploma and a food handler's certificate, with responsibilities including setting up meal trays, washing dishes, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. Candidates should be able to learn quickly and work cooperatively with other staff, contributing to a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
General Purpose: The dietary aide assignments are determined based on the needs of the activity during the shift. The dietary aide reports to the Cook and Dietary Supervisor.

Qualifications:
Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various forms.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must obtain and maintain a food handler's certificate.
Physical Demands: Standing, walking frequently; sitting occasionally; reaching, pushing/pulling, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling frequently; lifting up to 50 pounds; occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling; good vision and focus.
Work Environment: Usually low to moderate noise level; accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
