Job summary

Holzer Health System is looking for a full-time dietary assistant to support meal preparation and service for residents. You will help keep the food service area clean and well-organized, including dishes, utensils, and equipment, under the Dietary Manager's direction.

The role supports excellent resident care, employee relations, and participates in planning and problem solving to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; sufficient relevant experience may offset educational requirements.
• Previous food service experience preferred, but not required.
• No licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food for residents; maintain cleanliness of the food service area, dishes, utensils and equipment.
• Assist the Dietary Manager to achieve excellent food service and resident care, and support positive employee relations.
• Assist in strategic planning and problem solving within the dietary team.
• Monitor and perform to standards to meet compliance with State and Federal guidelines.
