Job summary

Aston Group is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to support our dining services team in Florida. This PRN role focuses on delivering nutritious meals to residents in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment, contributing to resident comfort and well-being.

You will assist in serving meals, keep dining areas sanitized, and support meal carts, trays, and utensils with respectful, timely service. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food service experience preferred, but training is available.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Basic knowledge of food handling, storage, and sanitation.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals and beverages to residents, patients, and guests
• Maintain clean and organized kitchen and dining areas following sanitation and safety standards
• Deliver and retrieve meal carts, trays, plates, and utensils in a respectful and timely manner
• Support meal preparation, plating, and kitchen organization as needed
• Report supply needs to the appropriate supervisor
• Participate in ongoing training related to dietary procedures and resident needs
• Follow all food handling, infection control, and safety guidelines
