Job summary

High Point & Affiliated Organizations is seeking a Dietary Aide for the Hyannis, MA location. The role supports meal service, maintains infection control standards, and assists with dining area setup and record-keeping.

A valid high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with opportunities for training in EMR use and de-escalation techniques. The position requires courteous conduct, the ability to work with others and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must present as courteous and professional at all times.
• Demonstrated flexibility and ability to perform multiple tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and EMR training.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others and understand patient rights.
• Certified in HPAO de-escalation program and able to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Knowlege of infection control standards (hand washing, PPE, etc.).
• Record all food temperatures prior to serving.
• Stock assigned units and set up dining areas.
• Serve meals according to procedures and facility rules.
• Wash dishes and sanitize areas after meals.
• Daily refrigerator temperature logging and cleanliness checks.
• Attend mandatory trainings and adhere to sanitary regulations.
