Job summary

Platinum Communities is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist the Dietary Supervisor and Cook in preparing, serving, and cleaning up meals for residents in an assisted living environment.

You will help feed residents, maintain sanitary food handling, and support a respectful, resident-focused atmosphere while adhering to HIPAA and company policies. The role requires flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clean dining room before and after meals.
• Assist with basic meal preparation and service per the menu.
• Help feed residents needing assistance, following safety practices.
• Maintain sanitary food handling and safe work habits.
• Keep kitchen and surfaces clean per sanitation schedules.
• Support a dignified, respectful atmosphere with residents and families.
• Respond to dietary needs promptly and positively.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance per company standards.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and company policies.
• Attend required meetings and trainings.
• Follow community policies and emergency protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
